Why drive all the way to Halifax or Truro to get your yarn.  I have a shop in Maitland with lots of yarn.  Some stock that I carry is Briggs&Little, Pants, Bernat and cotton for dishcloths and also lots of yarns for socks in various colours.  My shop is als TAX free.
